What is the goal of your business?
Our objective at Centrepoint is to provide a full-service, professional, neutral meeting facility for dispute resolution professionals and the legal and corporate community serving the interior of British Columbia.

How long have you lived in Kamloops? If you were not born and raised in Kamloops, why did you move to Kamloops?
After residing and working in Calgary for 22 years, we moved to Kamloops in 2010 to enjoy a lifestyle change a smaller market offers and to escape the hectic traffic congestion and long brutal winters!

What makes your company so special?
Centrepoint clients tell us on a regular basis how much they love using our facility for their meetings. We set ourselves apart from other meeting venues because of our personalized service, all-inclusive full service business model. Centrepoint is the only facility of its kind in the interior of BC. Plus, we serve the best coffee in town!

How long have you been at your current location?
We opened for business in September 2015.

Why did you choose to be located in downtown Kamloops?
Centrepoint opened in September 2015 when Delta Kamloops was operating as Hotel 540. The space that now occupies Centrepoint was formerly a cafe then storage space when it was re-purposed as additional meeting space. Centrepoint was custom-built specifically to meet the demand of the dispute resolution and legal professions.

What’s your favourite thing about downtown Kamloops?
I am a “downtown” person – regardless of the city I’m in – it gives me a feeling of being part of something special. Downtown Kamloops has a small town vibe and energy that appeals to me. I enjoy the combination of big business and independent retailers – it provides a friendly environment.
